888 Holdings reaching out to William Hill

It is very well known that Caesars Entertainment is close to finalizing Willam Hill’s US estate acquisition. However, the casino giant is firm in its intentions to sell the international business.

According to an interview Itai Pazner, 888 CEO gave, his company is very interested in William Hill’s Europe business.

It is safe to say that 888 will be facing competition. Popular companies like Apollo Global and Betfred are in search of their piece of the pie. Also, reports are stating a possible bit coming from Las Vegas Sands. Those statements don’t keep Pazner awake at night. In front of The Times, he assured that his company would deal with any possible competition to grow and expand.

A big part of their popularity comes from the fact that there are 1400 William Hill betting spots around the UK. However, the expansion of online betting closed 119 of those. Even though Pazner admitted that it’s too early to make plans for those shops, he made it clear that he recognizes those places’ worth.

On the other hand, Caesars could present any possible bidders with an unexpected problem because rumors spread the operator’s separation with its seven England casinos. This could put Apollo in a pole position as the firm has previous experience in managing casinos.
