Violation of the Gambling Laws in Lithuania

A registration of the very first fine since the permission to reprimand providers of gambling services.

The reasons behind Tete-a-tete Casino’s penalty are related to the customers’ bets and winnings. As stated by the Gambling Supervisory Authority, the operator has violated the gambling laws by cutting off on the players’ demanded stakes and winnings.

Limiting the gamblers’ rights without reasonable explanations is strictly against the law of the Lithuanian regulator. The investigators who were in charge of the inquiry did not find the operator’s actions appropriate.

The company was fined 15,000 euros for failing to keep up with the laws. However, they do have the right to appeal the authoritative decision.
